Andreu Piñol Guiral has a  degree in Geography (2009) and a master’s degree in Spatial Planning: Information, Tools and Methods (2012). He is currently  a PhD Candidate in Tourism and Leisure with the support of a doctoral fellowship from the Rovira i Virgili University.

His research is based in the study of the regeneration and renovation processes of  historical city centers, where he analyzes demography, morphology, and the uses and transformation of neighborhoods.
